Rick at Idaho Repair is professional, smart, and knows the industry backwards and forward. I found him on Google and gave him a shout. We had some problems with some burning smell in the furnace, he was able to diagnose it over the phone. He came out later that day, right on time and had us fixed in less than 30 minutes. I will definitely be recommending Idaho Repair to everyone I know. He is the one of best technicians in the area.

Called Idaho Repair after our furnace stopped working. Well, I should have checked it again because when he arrived it was working again. Rick was really nice and did a thorough check up on our heater.. He found a loose wire at the breaker panel causing it to run intermittently….
It’s also worth mentioning that Rick was extremely honest and professional. Not that I can really vouch for the guy, but my sense is that this is someone you could trust to call when only your wife or kids would be home. He seems really trustworthy, and you don’t always get that.
If you call anyone else, you are asking for trouble!
I called Idaho Repair and they came right out. He diagnosed my problem immediately and came up with a solution that fixed my problem quickly.
I called another repair person before him, incidentally, who came over 4 times and didn’t know how to fix the problem, or even what the problem was. Rick new immediately! I wouldn’t call anyone else.
I had an air conditioning problem and contacted Idaho Repair. Rick was extremely courteous and helpful on the phone, and even helped me troubleshoot over the phone. He was able to give me an appointment for the same day– When he arrived, he took my husband and me through a detailed hands-on tutorial (at our request) and he systematically isolated the problem. Turns out the problem was not in the air conditioner but the prior homeowner had miswired the thermostat!
His labor charge was reasonable, and did I mention how professional and courteous he is? He also seems to know his stuff– knew the innards of the hvac system and wasn’t shy about educating us about it….the mark of a true technician. Recommend them highly as I plan on using them again in the future.
This gentleman has provided me with service in the past. I called them to fix my furnace and offered me help over the phone which helped me with my problem and did not charge me a penny. I was so satisfied with his help I referred him to my family and has done work for them as well. Idaho Repair offers prompt same day service for less. 
Seriously, this is the repair company you should call. Idaho Repair really goes above and beyond what you would typically expect of a repairman. He comes out on time (or early!) and really knows what he’s doing! Totally, someone I could trust in my home and someone that won’t give you the runaround.

A homeowner’s biggest nightmare – a heat pump problem.
